Sorry, I was on vacation during the beta... my mouse cursor is about 25 to 50% larger than the previous version when hovering over any melda window. Presumably this is related to the 'Cursors now follow HiDPI/Retina' note added to the 9.22 update.

I find it freakishly large and sort of ugly now. Perhaps it's intentional, but it looks weird to me.

This is on PC, Reaper and Audition (host probably makes no difference). I'm not using a HiDPI resolution, just 1920X1080.

Anyone else?

Yes it is larger for me too. However I actually prefer the new cursors, they look clearer to me.

Well, they are tiny big larger, like 20%, could you post a screenshot? (you might need to use a camera to do this :) )

sorry, but now window should change the cursor I choose in the os.
For me this is an inconcistent

Yeah, I tend to agree... but it's a minor issue I guess.

There are 2 pointer cursors defined in the style - the default one is a black pointer with a white edge (that's always been the case, hasn't it?)

The other one could be used if you edit the Style in the Structured Style Editor.

As for it getting bigger, that I don't know.

I did a bit more research: the cursor size depends on the style used (perhaps, more strictly on some font size or other property within the style) and on the GUI XY percentages. Here are some screenshots of plug-ins using the Ozone and Minimalistic styles, both set to 100% Y and 90% X

I have extracted the cursors onto the blue background area to make comparison easier.

(PS: normal screen captures do not capture mouse pointers; I used LICEcap to record these then took screenshots of the recorded gifs.)

Speaking of style... The Cursor is ultrabig for me particularly in the Style Editor :o :

...yup...them new cursors suck...too big, too hard to use...is there a way to get back to the "original" small arrow?.../s~

...upon further review, it appears some/most of my trouble is mac related, will have to experiment later in doz...

As much as i love licecap, check out WinSnap. The free edition can capture the pointers, and would be a lot more streamlined than lc for this.
