Hi, I've got some troubles with the newest version of Sylenth running on windows. When I load it up, after asking me for the license, it shows a message saying "You have reached the machine activation limit (2) for this license. Please deactivate Sylenth1 on any of your other computers and try again."
How do I proceed ??

Post

They did generous efforts by giving us such amazing synth with a simple protection system which gives a smooth & easy operation. Having 2 licenses is enough, because one will be for the main DAW (desktop) and the 2nd one will be for the laptop. That what all of us have here I assume. Anyhow, you may temporarily deactivate one of the license while you activate Sylenth1 on the new machine. You will always have 2 licenses.

Yes, you can deactivate Sylenth1 via MENU -> Deactivate, so you can activate your license on a new computer.

If your computer broke down or you formatted your drive and installed a new OS, and forgot to deactivate Sylenth1 before doing so, or if you want to purchase additional machine activations, please contact us here

Hi, i can't see the "desactivate" section in "menu" could you help me?

Post

Menu. Look below. It is above "About"

You might be running an older version (v2.x) of Sylenth1 that doesn't have the deactivation option yet.

Go to 'MENU -> About' to see what version you're actually running and if possible update to Sylenth1 v3.0. Just request your license mail with the download info here: www.lennardigital.com/support/requestlicense.php

Hi, so i've tried your thing, and it doesn't work, because when i want to update the Sylenth1 i've got on my last computer, it tells me that i've already reach the activation limit..
I don't know what to do, and i don't want to get my sylenth1 working only on my tower pc and not on my new laptop.. :(

Uninstalling Sylenth1 will not deactivate it (Sylenth1 will not uninstall when Sylenth1 is still activated). You must deactivate it via MENU -> Deactivate in Sylenth1. After that you can uninstall it.

If you deleted Sylenth1 without deactivating, you can simply re-install it, then activate it (this will work since Sylenth1 was already activated on this computer), then deactivate to register the deactivation.

Now that I think of it I have Sylenth installed on two computers (I'm the only one who ever uses either computer) and they both used my old Key file during authorization of the latest versions. Is that OK or will there be problems in the future ? Just want to make sure I never lose Sylenth. If I have to I'll just have it installed on my Studio computer. :)

Hi,

That shouldn't be a problem. The installer searches for a license.dat file on your system, if it's not available you're asked to enter the 16-digit code to activate Sylenth1.

You won't loose your software, you can always retrieve your license mail HERE, and in the near future it should be possible to logon to your own personal download page on our website.

Cool thanks ! It will be nice to have a download page just in case we should lose our license file. :)
