Thanks for this.
I've noticed that the regular T7 colours are fine on my laptop but the low contrast mode is much better for my eyes when using the MacMini with ASUS monitor.

Can you fix the hanging notes issue with Tyrell N6 plugin on OSX ?
I constantly must reset the audio engine to stop the sound, that's annoying !

Do you have the "Send 'All-Controllers-Off' MIDI message when playing stops" option turned on from the "MIDI Devices" settings page?
Do you only get hanging note with this plugin?
It seems unlikely there would be problems with Tracktion's note handling if this is the only synth that exhibits the behaviour.
Does this always happen or are there specific routings/configurations that make stuck notes more likely?

Hum, couldn't reproduce the hanging note today but I checked the "Send 'All-Controllers-Off' MIDI message when playing stops" option was off.dRowAudio wrote:Do you have the "Send 'All-Controllers-Off' MIDI message when playing stops" option turned on from the "MIDI Devices" settings page?

But I think it does not matter as the hanging note started while playing in loop mode.
I will post if I can reproduce the issue.

You should have this options turned on. It send CC off messages (all notes off, hold pedal off, sostenuto off etc.) which are essential for some synths.

The option is probably more essential with loops, particularly. If a loop is truncated at a point NOT at the end, then there is a probability that a note-off event is missed (I haven't tested to see if Tracktion would put that in automatically). Also, while recording with a limited length sequence (looped record or fixed window), you might be holding a key down after recording has stopped or started the NEXT recording loop, hence miss note-off).

Note offs should automatically be added in all of those situations. It should be impossible to have a note which doesn't send a note-off message, no mater how the clip or playback is looped. If this isn't the case we have a bug
However, it's more likely that some synths are just not responding to the note off correctly. This could be because they don't like messages at the same sample number or any other potential reasons. This is why I always ask users to try a tested MIDI monitor plugin first so they can see if Tracktion is sending a note off at the correct time.
I hope that makes sense. If there was a fundamental problem in the way we handled notes, all synths would hang all of the time, this obviously isn't the case. You may have just found some edge cases we need to tighten up

T7 has just crashed after a midi controller was assigned to an automation parameter of Waldorf Attack plugin and recording some note while moving the midi controler.
opening the recorded midi clip made T7 poof crash.
No clues of the crash on the T7 log file.
OSX El Capitan.
