I think i'm better at doing sound design and beta testing which also seems to be more fun (especially doing sound design...).kokotte wrote:Ingo, Tone2 should take you at the marketing dept, you're really good

In the current version the Phase of the Oscs is not available as a mod destination but maybe it could be possible in a future update.kokotte wrote:right !
can you mod the osc phase " in real time" ?
For the LFOs (where you got quite a lot of options for the shapes too and also the "Shape" knob for further changing it) the Phase could be modulated. With the LFOs, especially when used in envelope mode, the Phase could make a big difference.
A quite interesting feature is that the FX Mix knobs (FXs 1 to 3) and the up to 4 parameters for each FX are available as mod destinations.

a video of the development would be most appreciated... I just got all of Tone2 stuff not too look ago. Also, I'm wondering how the mod matrix will work and cpu usage. though my laptop is a beast, I'm curious of how many resources this plugin will take give or take the amount of automation that could be done within this plugins GUI. However the filter section will be superb because to me that why Serum is popular. In more detail, adding a huge amount of filter presets and possibly some convulsion reverb effects.

Not sure what you mean regarding the mod matrix, but as far as the cpu usage is concerned, I have an ancient pentium 4, dual core, 2 gb ram (it was 1 before) and I can run up to five instances of Icarus, depending on the kind of sound. Like all Tone2 vsts, it uses very little cpu power.djavemcree wrote: Also, I'm wondering how the mod matrix will work and cpu usage

I will definitely demo it when it is released. I'm interested in this synth especially if it sounds different from their other synths (not that they don't sound nice, but I have no need for them). I hope it sounds something like Codex or Nave, or something between them.
I like all my wavetable synths! They are all have different characters, but my favourites in sounds (besides Blofeld of course) are Codex and Massive. The problem with Codex (and Waves plugs in general) that I must use the usb drive if I want the license to be portable. Massive is fantastic in everything includes the friendly protection. I love it.
Anyway, what the copy protection of Tone2 synths? I mean, can I install them in more than one machine? I hope it is not like Codex or Nave protection.
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

Icarus definitely sounds better than Codex imo. Haven't tried Nave yet really, so can't say.

Just a license file. You can install it on the machines you own and use. So long as you have your license file you will have access to the plugin, it doesn't need online activation or USB dongles.EnGee wrote: Anyway, what the copy protection of Tone2 synths?
