Absolutely great
I really hate to start from zero so that really helps a lot, me just thankful for any kind of step sequencer presets/patterns cause sometimes strange/far away (from style) ones brings the really interesting ideas

Hey guys, thanks for sharing step sequencer presets!
Practical notes:
Please share them as MuStepPattern files instead of MuStepSequencer files. The difference is that a MuStepPattern file is only about a single pattern and so it's much more flexible to use because:
1) You can easily combine multiple MuStepPattern files in a single Step Sequencer!
2) The Step Sequencer can be set to a certain Start/Stop mode and this mode is preserved while switching patterns and also while loading MuStepPattern files.
How to save as a MuStepPattern file: Use the preset file buttons at the right of the pattern display!
Another thing: When you're sharing drum patterns (like in runaudio's collection) please do name the lane = row headers so that the user of the pattern at least knows what lane plays what sound! Thx.
Pls repost your presets with the above tips in mind. Thanks!

To name a step lane, double-click its header:mutools wrote:When you're sharing drum patterns (like in runaudio's collection) please do name the lane = row headers so that the user of the pattern at least knows what lane plays what sound! Thx.

PS: As you can see in the previous picture, a lane header is a powerful thing cause you can also define chords there, or even mini sequences which are then triggered by each cell in that lane.

Some pretty lame basic kick&snare patterns, maybe they inspire someone further

This entire forum is wading through predictions, opinions, barely formed thoughts, drama, and whining. If you don't enjoy that, why are you here?
