Same here. It's annoying. It's not like it takes up any extra room to have it open as default. Hopefully it can be switched back.vectorwarrior wrote:Is anyone else finding that the information panel for multiparameters is always minimized? Me too- here it only saves a little space when collapsed and so far I have always ended up expanding it. I've suggested to Vojtech that it should always be expanded (its Collapse button is not needed, in my opinion)

Automating multi parameters in Logic is still broken when using the sliders/knobs inside e.g. MXXX, one has to select the automation parameter manually and automate it with an external controller, this bug has been around far too long now.

Hi - can someone please give me some guidance on how to roll back the updates?
I'm interested in applying the latest one, but am in the middle of a project, and so would like to have a roll-back strategy.
My understanding (?) of the W10 Restore points is that I could lose my mix edits and recordings if I restore to an earlier time, so that would not be what I'm looking for.
Is it just a matter of copying/renaming the old .dll file to another folder to bring back if I want to roll back?
Thanks much for any guidance!

No, I assumed Vojtech would read it on here.ZentralmassivSound wrote:Did someone report it via email?jmg8 wrote:I recon it was just an oversight to be honest. Should be corrected in the next update, hopefully.

Yeah, when I've reported via email in the past he told me to put it on here instead so you fine folk can confirm.

I am really pleased with the MFreeformequaliser changes and that it and MFreeformAnalogEq is now part of the powersynth effects.

C:\ProgramData\MeldaProduction
Back up these two directories.
Then simply write down the version you're on before the update, uninstall via add remove programs, then install the new version, then install the old version if required (though outside the recent changes of MXXX, melda plugins generally always keep backwards compatibility, so I don't think downgrading would be required).

Basically all you need to do is to get a newest installer and use it. Then, if you are not ok with the newest version (which is very improbable), you just use the previous installer. If you don't have one, some recent ones are on the download page, others are in the download archive.

Two questions on MCompare, which is what I have gone through the manual for so far:
1) Where can I find the presets that were available in the older update I was using? The presets area was pre-populated with things like 3-band de-esser, etc. in the older version, but it is blank/empty now.
2) Did I read that the new version allows for more slots to be added for comparison between files, etc.? I can't find a button for that, or reference in the manual.
Thank you!

Thanks for confirmation DarkStar, and for the information about the extra slot locations (I found them!).DarkStar wrote:1) None here, either

Mr. Melda - is it possible to obtain those presets that are missing in 9.22's MCompare? Or is this by design that they are not there?
If the latter - is there any way I can somehow grab them from the earlier version and copy/paste them into the latest? I am absolutely not proficient enough to write them from first principles myself, and at the same time I use them extensively (a bad combination for when they've gone missing!).
Thanks -
