I'm having a strange problem in T7 (and T6). I have a keyboard controller that uses usb for it's midi connection to my pc (Windows XP Pro). It is recognized just fine in the Midi Devices section of the Settings page. And, I know it is receiving midi notes just fine because when I play notes on the controller keyboard, the corresponding keys light up on the keyboard graphic at the bottom of the page. I've also made sure to Enable the midi input.

However, when I am on the edit page and go to right-click and choose that usb midi input, it is not an available choice. Every other midi input is available if I enable them - BUT NOT THIS PARTICULAR ONE. I checked in T3 and this midi input is recognized and available just fine on the Edit Page's input choices, so I know it has to do with T7/T6.

Is there something I'm doing wrong? Is this a bug?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Michael at The Coffeehouse

For those reading this if you're experiencing the same problem, it turned out to be that the controller was being used as a "Control Surface" and the "Hide MIDI Input Device" option was checked, hiding it in the Edit.
