FR: MPowersynth [poll] more multiparameters or a better way to automate the effects section

Are you certain? Because before the change MXXX had 2894 parameters, MPowersynth has 2533.

Yes, that many parameters but not all automatable by the host.
I'll double check, in case I'm wrong.

I'm not so sure anymore.
Your right that there are over 2,000 automatable parameters.
But in my DAW I can only automate 256.
Also I thought that is why Vojtech broke backwards compatibility in MXXX, I mean, why remove automatable parameters for no reason?
Maybe Vojtech can shed some light on this?

Because there was about 3000 pretty much useless parameters - 99% related to modulators and let's face it, how often you automate modulator's pitch detector . Some hosts have prioblems with plugins with too many parameters, plus some resources needed for that, right now everything is nice and simple .
