I'm always polite, so yeah, it can't hurt spreading it around.Numanoid wrote: You teaching users how to be polite now then
If only I could educate some users into not getting so bum hurt they dredge up old threads in an effort to 'get back' with a cheap shot at other members

It seems you already have forgotten that you just posted unrelated bullshit like this
According to yourself that is what intrusive, arrogant, know it all A hole at the same time would post.OutCider wrote:I love the smell of knickers getting twisted in the morning

And to the predictable obvious belated laughable loser of a poster below, why would you even bother replying if you hadn't even already lost

I'm not litigating your troll fail from another thread in this one.
You'll just have to suck up having your embarrassment pointed out there and learn to live with it.
If you want a ruck, start a thread in an appropriate place and see how lucky you get.
Despite your best trolling efforts, we're done in this poor, undeserving topic.

do you work in IT by any chance ? In my part of the world a ruck means at the very least actual fisticuffs ... not 'starting a thread in the appropriate place' ....lol

Where I come from, starting a different thread about ruckus or whatever, would just go to show that one is a coward: All mouth

Dear Numanoid, what's the point to dig up an old quarrel? Please let's leave that into the past.Numanoid wrote:You teaching users how to be polite now thenOutCider wrote:You could also have just done nothing, which would have been both polite and made you look less of an intrusive, arrogant, know it all A hole at the same time.

So far I kept count of the all the opinions about the Sinnah GUI and the majority of those are positive.sfd wrote:I was interested ....until I saw the GUI.
I suggest the NUsofting people read this
"The purpose of this text is not to argue for a certain taste. A userfriendly, readable and highly viewable GUI doesn't have to compromise with taste. As a matter of fact - the more options provided to the user to customize the GUI to suit his or her own needs and taste the better it is for everyone."
Points:
- Sinnah is not a finished synth: see http://nusofting.liqihsynth.com/Sinnah_VA_synth.html
- The GUI can be resized and some colours changed, next updates as annouced will include
user options to change also background and fonts colours
- The controls layout is subject to change as more features will be added
- More than two users already went as far as to say about the GUI that "it's a pleasure to use" and "it's great"
- Short comments like "I don't like it" or "I know better than you" don't mean much,
but any sensible and practical suggestion will be considered. Since that's
the nature of the Sinnah project, so who is truly interested will be heard.
*****
A psychological and technical note.
I'm pleasingly amazed for the many messages I received by people
that already love the Sinnah synth as it is.
But I know that Sinnha is far from perfect and it will never be "perfect",
in the sense to be able to please everyone. This project is not like
building an emulation of an analogue vintage gear or a real acoustic instrument,
in those cases the goal is clear, and what delvelopers and users expect is to get
close as much as possible to the real thing.
What to expect from the Sinnah project? I hope than many will be satisfied
and will enjoy to contribute to the project. More features will come, slowly
as development time allows. Unavoidably some users will not be pleased.
So there's a lot of exposure here.

Sinnah 1.0 freeware synth released, update now! Many bug fixes
and new features, for Mac and Windows.
"We anticipated the release of Sinnah 1.0, which was planned for the next month,
because of two annoying bugs that are now fixed. Due to the anticipation
of this release there are only two new features in Sinnah 1.0 and few more presets."
Main changes:
- Fixed the hanging notes issue that was happening in many hosts
- Fixed the GUI could crash under intensive parameters automations
- Fixed oscillators phase reset on wave change
- Fixed short delay length when |memory| switch is turned on
- Fixed issue that was preventing the AU from notifying the host of all the parameters to be modulated.
- New feature: Harmonics control can now have full range, something like a LP filter.
- New feature: inputs to the delay matrix have now two levels each: half and full gain.
