I've started mapping a MIDI controller to Bazille/ Podolski and both support MIDI out as far as I noticed. BUT, that's where the issue is. I use A9L intro because it's the only DAW supporting MIDI out and working to a certain extend (*1). I mapped 3 rotary controllers CC1-3 to knobs. No matter which of the knobs (even ones which weren't assigned in the first place) are changed using the mouse, they all magically change the controller CC1. I also don't know why all the other parameters show up and not even CC2 and 3 programmed in the first place.
I tested the Midi learn function from the controller as well as the MidiLearn within the plugin itself, although latter does not send MIDI, hence unusable for my use.

At this point I'm not sure whether the issue is in the host application or plugin itself.
(I would have attached the Midi monitor event log but non of the extensions (rtf, pdf, odf, txt, mmon) are allowed))

*1 Garageband doesn't support it, Ardour seems to support it and uses JACK which poses another issue (how to identify midi capture and playback devices an you need to connect them first

Thanks.

Hi guvi,
I have to admit I'm not quite sure what you're describing here.

Our plug-ins do not send any MIDI information, so no MIDI output.
Since you seem to have a hardware keyboard with knobs, then it should be easy to assign these to either Bazille or Podolski.
Assuming you're using the latest updates for both synths (you'll find the on the respective product pages), then all you'd have to do is go to the new MIDI Learn page (select the cog wheel symbol in the top right corner), select the parameter you want to assign, then move a knob on your keyboard, and the connection is made.
(also, more info can be found in the Bazille manual, page 47. Click on the u-he logo on the GUI to get there)

EDIT:
If you want the knobs on your keyboard to control the GUI knobs/value fields, make sure the keyboard knobs that you use for the connection aren't set to send either CC#01, CC#02 or CC#11, because these three CC numbers are used as PERFORMANCE CONTROLS. (Your modwheel already sends CC#01.)
Of course, if you want to use your knobs as performance controls, then yes, do use these CC numbers.
We do in fact recommend setting a couple of hardware knobs to CC#02 (breath) and CC#11 (expression), otherwise you won't be able to perform with them.

In case I'm misunderstanding your issue, you can also send me an email directly to support[at]u-he.com :)
