IK added import feature to Sampletank 3 free!!!

The free version now imports legacy libraries:

"SampleTank 3 CS now provides the ability to import and play instruments from legacy, 32-bit VIs such as SampleMoog, Sonik Synth 2 and SampleTron into SampleTank 3’s contemporary 64-bit architecture. Legacy libraries such as the Xpansion Tank series are also easily imported. This welcome feature now lets users incorporate their legacy sounds into their modern production workflow while providing full editing and effects manipulation for further creative sound design and exploration"

It does legacy import now...I think I see where Peter wrote maybe. But they don't list the new feature on the download link. But it's there I've got lots of work to do Thanks Numanoid, I just missed it

Thanks Peter, this is the best news I've heard in a while as I've been translating all my Emu banks to sampletank lately(a lot of trail and error work).

Hey Peter, is there a way to midi CC map the filter frequency to my mod wheel? - my macros are all unassigned as these are for my translated banks. I'll open a support ticket if I should. -thanks *edit: I found it, under control tab changed filter feq to midi cc #1.. but before you do that, you have to click learn and move the filter freq knob on screen and then move any midi knob. It will then be added to the list you see under the control tab.

When saving Multis, a period(.) ends the multi name, if you were to write a name as "Boys Choir T.Echo" the name that would appear will be "Boys Choir T" ..Just an observation.

I tried importing Sampletron but it doesn't show up in the browser. It goes through the import okay and the files seem to be in the correct folders but they don't show up in Sampletank

Have you looked under the sub-menu "Legacy instruments" in the broswer in ST3 ?
