This is a really cool program! I have been able to map the outputs to multiple instrument tracks, routed to MIDI channels on a multi-timbral plugin...while also mapping the built-in transport controls (in S1). This allows me to minimize the DAW and control output select/recording right from the program (all tracks record-enabled in the DAW). If you have a tiny 25-note USB keyboard like I do, AutoTheory makes it much more useful (in my opinion).Uncle E wrote:50% off Mozaic Beats AutoTheory, now $24.50 exclusively at JRR Shop. It's not a plugin...more like a MIDI bridge...and transport rides on "AutoTheory1". If I set MIDI record to overwrite on my DAW and loop a few bars, I can experiment over and over without switching from AutoTheory to S1, until it sounds good to me (disclaimer: I do not have any musical theory background at all)...and the final output is recorded as discreet MIDI notes, so I can edit/quantize them right in the DAW if I wanted to (even after closing down AutoTheory!).
As always, JRR came through! I had a question on this program, and Uncle E was all over helping me out. Frankly, this is why I spend my (limited) funds with these guys. Very few care for our community like they do.
