Not directly, but you could setup a bypass in mux using the Balancer 2 -> 1 and automate the balance parameter.

I was looking at VengeanceSounds TapeStop effect and wondered myself if buttons could be added that were programmable just as MetaParam's are? Allowing simple on off states of many things that aren't yet available.
I wondered if something like TapeStop was a possibility in MuX? But without that button, the answer would be no.

Thanks but no. I wanted to assign a button in Mux to a hardware controller to be able to use TapeStop function manually. It's a manual on off function where pressing the button is on and release is off.

You mean a tape stop vst or mux patch?sl23 wrote:Thanks but no. I wanted to assign a button in Mux to a hardware controller to be able to use TapeStop function manually. It's a manual on off function where pressing the button is on and release is off.

Yeah, I looked at one by vengeance and wondered if a similar function were possible in Mulab. Without a configurable button though I doubt it can be done.

I think you can make a tape stop effect in mulab using envelopes, delay, something else and for sure an note event pad used as a button.
I am not a great expert in making fx patch but someone more experienced than me could create a patch of this type.
Anyway there is a nice example in the factory library called "live effect" to see how this kind of effects work.
About the event pad used as a trigger/switch for the live effects attaching a simple example.
