Having never seen a real OB-XD (so maybe my vote shouldn't count) I like layzer's choice of bottom right (above)

This is a little crazy - even on the one picture at the bottom (of the full keyboard) the colour is much lighter on the LH side, than the RH side

We miss 2DaT. We would like that he could continue his job. We hope he's OK. Does anyone have any news of him? By the way thank you very much for layzer, BlackWinny and other friends to continue to support this great synthesizer and improve the GUI. Regards!

Layzer's bottom right looks just fine to me as well.
How about anti-aliased text on the skin, or is there a technical limitation?

i think in my quest to make a "proper" OBX gui for this great synth, i will go with the grey tone. i will also change the text labels to the top and section labels to the bottom, remove the 12'oclock dot on the knobs, make the switches light the LED only (not animated) and try to anti-alias the label fonts....details details.

While you're at it, maybe make the logo a little smallerlayzer wrote:i think in my quest to make a "proper" OBX gui for this great synth, i will go with the grey tone. i will also change the text labels to the top and section labels to the bottom, remove the 12'oclock dot on the knobs, make the switches light the LED only (not animated) and try to anti-alias the label fonts....details details.

can't move the bttons and knobs as their positions are hard coded in the DLL
but i did make the section longer and moved the global label down.

OutCider wrote: Well, if as is hinted by colour matching talk that gui accuracy is the goal, the real OBX has labels above the switches and knobs.
A basic error in putting them underneath for the plugin. It just looks wrong.
For example, the modulation section is an abomination to a former owner/user.

Glad to know he is well. He was probably hired by some bigger name (after all, after this skill demonstration, I would be surprised if he wasn't)Mutant wrote:He is OK and still posting on KVR, you can click on his name to see the list of his posts.Iu Gob wrote:We miss 2DaT.
