finally decided on this one, bought tracktion today fiddled with energyXT before making final decision, interesting program for sure, any of you using this within tracktion? does it work well compatible wise? I am damn excited for tracktion 2! hope there will be a preview or something soon!

I use both. Love eXT, but Tracktion's still ruling my studio. 
Even though there are now Rack Filters, as it turns out I'm still using eXT for my modular routing of FX.

I too use both, eXT inside Tracktion... they are in total symbiosis... and I am in heaven
