I don't get why there's a seperate Vintage Rotary plugin though given that Rotary claims it can do any rotary type effect, so can Rotary also do what Vintage Rotary can?

They are actually quite different. MVintageRotary tries to replicate the classic leslie, while MRotary is a generalized rotary, which will probably never sound exactly like the original (not that it would be necessary, it's just that everyone likes something else).

So for classic organs the MVintageRotary would be more useful? I don't see why they are not all one plugin tbh. It does say in the advert that:
Which to me implied that MVintageRotary is a subset of MRotary with a focus on the vintage part but not the futuristic part (hence the lower price).MRotary is the ultimate rotary simulator, which can deliver not only the great vintage sound, but also futuristic algorithmic sound featuring up to 6 speakers at once.

That was the original plan, but eventually it isn't. They are sort of different under the hood. Moreover if someone wants a classic leslie, they just want a simple plugin, not the creative madnessaMUSEd wrote: Which to me implied that MVintageRotary is a subset of MRotary with a focus on the vintage part but not the futuristic part (hence the lower price).
