Hi there folks, I was wondering if anyone could help on a couple of problems Im haveing with my PC.
I have recently encounterd these problems, the 1st problem is when I boot my PC, I get a RUNDLL error message telling me that I have a missing BRIDGE dill (C/system32) file. The second problem is soon afterwards, it says that APPLICATION has encountered a problem and has to close down. Ive tried help and suppport but it only seems to direct you to the folder and find it there (but how can you look for something thats missing???!!!). I am running windows XP. Any help would be greatful, thanx. :help:

Why not try running XP setup and see if that repairs the problem? I believe there is a diagnostic mode that only fixes missing files, and pretty much leaves your configuration intact.

Sounds like a start-up program trying to initialize on boot,,did you try msconfig and check for start-ups you may not even need?

Hi the Willium, thanx for the advice but without sounding too dumb, how do you do that?

all start ups were the same, nothing else added, before this happened
