Group tracks

Is there a way to setup group tracks? I've tried by making a track called drums then sub tracks for kick, snare etc but putting effects on the top track doesn't effect the tracks under it.

Tracks are independent from racks. If you want to apply an effect to a group of racks then route (=set the output of) all those racks to that group rack in which you insert the wanted effect(s).
