Hi Everyone,

I just installed my Creative Bundle, and also purchased the SatyaTunes MayaBlue skins. However, every time I try to change the style of any of the plugins, the host crashes. I am running version 9.22, and this happens in both Reaper and Studio One v.2 (both 64 bit hosts). Has anyone else had this issue?

Thanks!

Hi,
I am not able to recreate your issue in both Reaper and Studio One (64 bit) latest version. Changing style is working fine.

Thank you. I just confirmed that trying to change the style also crashes Pro Tools 12. This is very frustrating (can't even see the beautiful MayaBlue on my own computer :)). Any ideas how I can troubleshoot this? Maybe I'll try to install the previous version of Melda and see if the issue is still there.

I uninstalled 9.22, installed 9.21 and still have the same problem - crashes in multiple hosts when trying to change the style. Any ideas that anyone has would be greatly appreciated!

Ok, so what exact computer and system do you have? Could you send me the style? Or does it happen with any style? Any details? Please be specific.

Hi Vojtech,

Thanks for chiming in. I am running 64 bit Windows 7 on a Core i5 computer. I installed the SatyaTunes styles, but it happens with any of the Melda plugins as soon as I try to load any style. I press the Settings button at the top of the window (next to the wrench), press "Style" in the "GUI & Style" box, and then as soon as I try to select any other style (whether one of the stock Melda styles or the newly installed SatyaTunes styles), everything crashes.

Thanks again!

Any ideas on this? I really appreciate everyone's help.

Try VST2 and VST3.

32 Bit and 64 Bit.

Also try the gpu acceleration settings.

Are these located within the Melda plugin?

Post

Yes, they are in the settings menu.

OK - thanks. I will try this tonight :).

That worked! When I set the GPU Acceleration to "Disabled", I am able to change the styles no problem. Any idea why this would be happening? Will having the GPU Acceleration set to Disabled affect the audio performance of the plugin in any way?

Post

Glad that worked for you. You will not have any reduction in audio quality whatsoever, don't worry. However the downside will be a slight reduction in available CPU, as now the CPU is used for drawing instead of the GPU.

OK - thanks again for solving this for me!
