This was the sort of thing I used to argue against, remember that pljones? I am in the process of designing around 500 musynth presets and will offer them for free, if anyone's interested.
This is going to be my first batch and is based on the Mc909 patches, as well as korg ea1 and novation nova.
Afterwards I'll be starting on korg emx1 and their new electribe.
All for free!!!

This entire forum is wading through predictions, opinions, barely formed thoughts, drama, and whining. If you don't enjoy that, why are you here?

I remember the discussion... I'm just against vast collections of presets in general. I don't use them. I don't have time to sit through sifting through each one wondering if it's the sound I'm looking for. I'd rather get something somewhat near-ish and then spend time making the sound I want, including ripping apart the modular innardssl23 wrote:This was the sort of thing I used to argue against, remember that pljones?

Yeah I do know what you mean, and, to a certain extent agree. My problem, and maybe others too, don't have enough knowledge to create what sounds are in their heads, so it can help to get approximations or even inspirations to fuel things you never thought of.
I wish I could work the way you do, but I can't, so this helps me make music

@wagtunes
Happy to see a sound library for Mux modular,I had a bit of time to listen to all the demos, nice work
@sl23
I'm working on so many patches, many are really complex but do not worry I kept in mind that many users want simple things but that sound great ,so also working on a lot of sounds with five controls or even less on the front panel
Waiting for your patches and surely will be appreciated by all here

Nice to know they'll be useful to some.
My apologies though they may take some time to post as I don't have much spare time to play with mulab.
I'll create a dropbox folder and update it as and when new patches are finished. They probably won't be up to your standard though, but hopefully they're useable.

Yeah I'm still trying to get those single cycles done. I started again just to be sure they're right! Only 600 or so samples left to edit! Need to spend a day just to get that lot done.

Hey Guys
Have you ever heard about hijacking a thread
And to Wagtunes: Thanks for these presets. Worth every penny and
then some.

It's all good. I don't mind. I do want to thank MuTools for having my news release as the top link when you open up the MuTools forum. I never expected that. Not even sure how that works.sbj wrote:Hey Guys

As for the library, I totally enjoyed creating it and it was a long time coming. I got MUX in December of 2014 so it did take me a while.
Now that MUX 7 is out, I am thinking of making additional presets and adding them to the existing package. Anybody who has already purchased, just go to the download link you got and redownload. I will make an announcement when it's ready. But first I need to find out about compatibility between MUX 6 and MUX 7. I want to make sure that upgrading won't break the old presets. If not a problem, I'll be doing a lot of audio rate modulation in the additional set as that's new in MUX 7.
Anyway, will open a new thread with the question and hopefully MuTools will respond quickly so I can start working on this right away.

Me neither, it must have been a nice coincidence.wagtunes wrote:I do want to thank MuTools for having my news release as the top link when you open up the MuTools forum. I never expected that. Not even sure how that works.
