Superwave synths will not install on my Receptor 1 Rev C

Hi looneytunes, thanks for looking into this and spending the time to consider it for me. I think my Superwave .dll files are all older versions of the software, because I simply copy the .dll files from my Steinberg Cubase VST folder on my pc, and they were installed in there several years back (probably 4 or 5 years ago?) Therefore I don't think it's the age of the Superwave files that is causing the problem. As emcee pointed out, I am having issues with loads of free and commercial VSTs that are known to work on older Receptors and they are not happening at all on mine!

emcee, you are starting to be a star, as far as I'm concerned! I would very much appreciate you cloning the hard disk you have so I can at least get a Receptor that accepts new stuff! I'd appreciate you finding out what is on that clone drive. Either way I'll gladly bung you enough to cover the postage and a few beers! (Or whatever your poison may be!)

Thanks everyone. Much appreciation coming from me.

Ok - update time for those interested.
Managed to clone my R2+ 750gb to a 1tb drive AND claim the extra space, and boot fine.
Will be doing same process for Dan later this week with a 160gb IDE to a 200gb (only IDE I have spare!)
So.. If you want some guidance on the process/tools/tricks/gotchas, I will be documenting the process start to finish and will share. If you're not a techie, I can provide more help, or if you're down under, even via phone.
It's not that hard, just gotta be absolutely 100% getting your source and destination drives right, get them wrong and you'll wipe your receptor drive. Ouch.
I've also read it's possible to clone your master standard disk to an SSD - will be trying this also later this week and will post results. That presents the option to copy your drive to an SSD, use that in your rig, and the old drive becomes your backup. Nice!

Hello
you can clone your masters to an Ssd no probs I do it quite often ,but you will have to re register your Native instruments stuff (Komplete) and all Ik multimedia plugins if you use the clone,as these plugins recognize the hardware change and ask for validation. The strange thing is though if you clone from an Ssd to another Ssd you dont need to re register the Ik stuff, only the Native instruments stuff. When you reautherise the Ni stuff make shure you do it off line using a pc.If you try to do it online on your receptor it will download alot of updates and completley ruin your setup.

Thanks for the heads up.
My "main" r2+ I haven't gotten around to registering the NI stuff yet, got it second hand for an unbelievable price, the seller had no idea what it was! Came with Komplete 7 and some Spectrasonics stuff. Just over US$220 delivered here to Aus.
So I'll get to that stuff AFTER the SSD goes in. :)
