Can graular synthesis synth be created in mulab or mux? or will there be one added?

Anybody know?

Not that I can see, you might be able approximate the grains with a gate,
or by using multiple samplers. For now, its probably best to just use a granular
plugin until the sampler provides us some more control over playback.

I haven't been using MuLab for very long though, there is much I haven't explored
as yet.

Have a read about the Multi-Form Oscillator module:

thanks u guys. but how would i contruct it using the Mulitform osc

Post

Ok here's the gist of what I did:

Load an empty polysynth, dropped the multiform Osc in, setting the steps to 10 because I wasn't going to
be cycling through the wave table. Added a multiple sample grain source, leaving the loop start and end
positions as they were. I then added a bunch of markers to the sample and rendered it.

Routed that into a low pass, then an amp followed by a multimode filter and limiter.
I used a multipoint envelope to control the amp and modulated the (Osc) pitch and (Env) speed with
a low freq LFO. Finally I used a randomiser on the Osc octave.

Routed the polysynth into a chorus and reverb.
You could use a unison layer instead of a chorus as well.

Hope this helps...

*sry I don't have anywhere to upload patches atm. I disconnected Onedrive
due to finding it annoying.
