New skins are sick! Great job.

I'm late on this one as usual, but just a little heads up ...

I stuck it in the Paddle cart, with the 25% coupon, and then took the dog for a walk.

When I got back I had an email from Paddle inviting me to complete the purchase with a further 20% off. Reduced the price to £41.40.

I did the same when it was at full price and had the 20% reduction offer. I didn't take it up, but I wonder if it's an automated response...

I purchased ArcSyn and Gater-Pro the same way. I paid $59.40 and 23.40 respectively.

Just checked the latest demo version and i admit that now i like the synth more than with the first release. Also the GUI seems to be much better now.

Overall the synth seems to be nice but based on what i alraedy got, including the Beta of the upcoming Tone2 Icarus and several more, i am not sure if i really need this. For those that do not already have comparable synths ArcSyn could be very nice indeed.

Anyway the current 25% off sale seems to be tempting. Will check the demo a bit more.

I didn't realize ArcSyn was up to version 1.5. I'd still been using 1.2. I read the release notes but 1.5 is not listed. Any major differences in it?

** EDIT ** Never mind, found the updated link.

It took a while and I was afraid it was because I didn't have a dog to walk but eventually the further price reduction appeared in my inbox.

So now, the offer was irresistible and I have yet another fantastic synth I thought I couldn't afford.

Thanks for the tip, lnikj!

Probably no bad intent here, but this comparison with a synth most of us don't have access to, is... well,
discutable?
ArcSyn is still a pretty unique/powerful synth using "well known" synthesis technology, so to speak.

TY (big time) for the Paddle heads up - besides the coupon, wait for the e-mail before purchasing. I guess Paddle thinks you're going to bow out and sends the 20% off discount to get you back in gear. Worked for me. At this price, and with the new skins (awesome), this is a beast!

I haven't even figured out half of what's going on with that village of LFOs, but having great fun with the patches.

If I had to nitpick, I'd agree Env4 is a weird choice to pre-patch to the amp, and I'd prefer if the pre-patched envelope for filter 2 was different from filter 1. But, really, who cares?

The only thing (IMHO) that's really "missing", and it's kinda big considering the lfo's and remarkable arsenal of tempo-synced effects: Trip and dot sync choices (1/8D, 1/8T, etc. - unless I'm overlooking something?) In any case, that's a biggy, but I (hope) easy to add without effecting current patches.

In any case - still a huge synth for the money - real easy to get from bread-butter to sci-fi. Gonna lose some days playing :hyper:
