Plugin sandboxing

I'm getting fed up with how crashy T7 is with plugins and at the moment a plugin misbehaving brings down the whole host without warning. Some sandboxing of plugins so they don't do this would greatly improve stability.

What would also improve stability would be for T7 to send logs of crashes to you automatically.

Sandboxing and native bridging has been promised since T5.
Please guys? Pretty please? No really, please?

+1 here.

After mere occasional tests with Tracktion for a very long time, I am finally *using* it proper, and I'm amazed at how often this program crashes. I'm talking about some 10 to 15 times per hour. About half of the times, I get a "double" or "triple" crash, where I relaunch it right after a crash, it loads for a second then crashes again, sometimes twice in a row after the first crash. Or it loads and stays up, but then I reopen the project and bang, it crashes again two or three times.

I'm even considering giving up and looking at other DAWs that I don't quite like very much. I don't want to use another DAW, but this has been too frustrating. :(

Not everyone has their music PC online though.
[W10-64, T5/6/7/W8/9/10/11/12/13, 32(to W8)&64 all, Spike],[W7-32, T5/6/7/W8, Gina16] everything underused.

The cat host had this for the brief period of time I had it.

Still shitloads of issues there. Would be nice to not have to restart my computer when tracktion does crash  All for it.

The real issue though is from shitty vsts and or/a lack of attention from the devs here. Odd, when I was "testing" tracktion recently I didn't have any real issues. The moment I authorized it, BAM! Maybe it misses the "ocean" :hihi:
