I contacted Focusrite and to make a long story short they ask me what driver I am using and I told them 2.5.128.1. Because they are using USB driver version 3.1.10. I could not find that driver anywhere on the internet. But I found a USB driver version, scarlett-solo-3.1.10-221 and tried that. It did solve the clipping problem but then the Scarlett Mix Control would not work, my 18i8 was not recognized, probably because that driver is for a different interface. So I reinstalled the 2.5.128.1 and I am working with that for now. Hopefully I hear back soon from Focusrite. Does anyone know where I can get the 3.1.10 USB driver for the Scarlett 18i8? Thanks for any help.

I'm not too clued in about Focusrite interfaces, but what you are looking for might be a beta driver?

Hi there,
had anyone the same problem with cracking noise? I have powerfull CPU so it should not be problem.
It must be something with HIVE effects. When I switch of EQ and Phaser then the sound is clear.
