Well, I also only found it via the side pannel on KVR. But it's actually still considered "Beta" (even though it is mostly stable), which is why it wasn't hyped so far.

And as part of implementing it, the performance has improved quite a lot, too, from what I've noticed.

Existing users will be emailed about the new M7 when it will have been effectively released. Still preparing that release atm.

Seems a bit strange to have a pre release price but not tell anyone, I've bought the upgrade once I found out.

Pre release sales seem to work for Xils, helps generate lots of feedback and attracts new users judging by the long thread for their new drum maxchine Stix.

The pre-release is a pre release and the MuTools forum users were told about it. The release news will be published upon release. I can't go faster than step by step. Conclusion: You would have known about the special upgrade price upon release anyway. But being a Kvr member you noticed things faster
