Can I add External instruments
I have Mulab 6 but never used it, but its looking cool with the new upgrade to 7, so the External instruments is my only issue as I have several synths/drum machines etc.

any idea, can I use External instruments in Mulabs 6/7 ?

External instruments are supported since along time.

In a rack, right click the bottom line, where it usually says MASTER, and select Show Event Outputs.
After that a click should give you a list that contains your midi outputs in your system.

One point that could do with clarification:

This says a MIDI out can (despite the typo) be used for MIDI Clock - but provides no further suggestion as to how to find out whether, in fact, that's happening for a particular out or whether it always happens for all outs.
