Oh dear, how can I explain it other than I already did. When saving active presets the folders I created in my user library (which you call HOME/) show up and I can save the presets, but in the main browser when trying to load presets, those folders don't appear, they are invisible so I can not load my own presets nor can I export them in any way. The browser for loading presets is filled with some basic factory presets but not with my own and I can't find those factory files anywhere (neither in HOME nor in the HD library), please check the screenshots I posted above.
I made a quick video which should make it even clearer:

right click to download

Ok, I believe this was explained above - you saved an active preset, which is accessible from the easy screen, but you tried to search for it in classic presets, which is accessible with the presets window. Just click the Edit button to get to the easy screen.

No, easy screen wasn't mentioned, now I got it - can this not be changed, I mean why only in easy screen, I don't understand, anyway I'm all set and can now start compiling all my AU presets, thanks.

And what about his issue:
In addition to the above problem I noticed, that the settings of the Modulators (M1 - M100) within an active preset are not saved with the preset but rest to 50% as soon as one hits the save button - is this by design?
Ok, solved, I have to use "set current value as default" before saving, then the Modulators will not reset to 50%.

But the question remains: How to export Banks from the easy screen? There is no option to do that.

Post

What do you mean by exporting banks from the easy screen???

As for the 2 kinds of presets, well, the point is that "Save active preset" is designed for those, who actually create the "active presets" - sort of plugins based on MXXX. While classic presets are there for convenience.

All your other plugs have an Export-function which converts a folder of presets into a bank which can then be imported by another user using the Import-function, do I really have to explain how your own plugs work :)

I had to read through this a couple of times ;)

This is for MXXX (Full) on Windows 7.

First of all I can create a new folder in the Save Active Preset window and save a new AP into that folder. It then is listed on the main page in the AP browser.

However (bug) I could not delete it. I could delete it in the "Save Active Preset" window but it would still appear in the AP Browser and on re-opening the "Save Active Preset" window. In the end I whacked the preset file in the
AppData\Roaming\MeldaProduction\MeldaProduction MXXX\ActivePresets\Delay folder

As for Sampleconstruct's request, here are the 2 preset windows from MXXX:

He would like the buttons on the "Save Active Presets" window to be the same as those on the "Presets" window (as mocked-up below the "Save Active Presets" window.

While investigating, I noticed couple of buglets, an FR and have a question:
