Hi,
it would be great if there is someone, who changed his workflow from mixing the "old fashioned" way to mixing only with melda plugins and could do a complete comparison video of both ways mixing.
It's very time consuming, but it's really interesting and exciting. This could show the whole power of Melda plugins and give people like me and other ones a better understanding in working fast, easy with these plugins!?
Toontrack did something like this for there ezmix series, but this comparison was like crap.
I think this could be a great marketing for Melda, if he is interested in this?!
Many are in doubt about the quality of mreverb, maybe this video can show it's quality and power!
I'm also interested in Vojtechs own music, but until today I couldn't hear anything!

Hehe I'd like to, but you know, time is limited... You'd like mixing revolution, and at the same time more video tutorials and stuff, you know, you cannot have everything
.
Btw. some of my music:

(mixed in rush, but so what...

First, I'd like to know your plugins best as possible. Nothing more, you're already made some great steps for mixing, but you know, human never can get enough.
My only wish, I'm still alive and be a part of the mixing revolution.
Go on with your fantastic work.

You can do it! Just skip sleeping for a while. Sleep is overrated and a waste of time anywayMeldaProduction wrote:Hehe I'd like to, but you know, time is limited... You'd like mixing revolution, and at the same time more video tutorials and stuff, you know, you cannot have everything.

Talking about comparison ..I been looking into Mcompare. I did not use it so far but I feel it might be useful for me. I been watching the Teaser/Tutorial video, trying to understand how it works but the video mostly show what it can do and not how to do it. Is there any other video or written documentation about Mcompare?
Cheers!

...well, as matter of fact, that's is exactly where I am at the moment...the entire project seems to be around 23/27 individual compositions, loosely tied together by instrumentation and theme...I have/am transitioning all of the plugins over to Melda because of the functionality and consistency of implementation. I am definitely not at all interested in the "emulation" of anything, so I am happy enough leaving that all "behind."a whole music production mix with melda plugins exclusively.
Maybe better than watching someone else's video, try converting/implementing one of your projects and see what you get...you know, mix the crap out of it and have some fun

Sounds cool, I don't wanna copy anyones mixing technique, that's like using presets all the time, that doesn't work. Every music is different from recording to finishing mastering. But would be interesting the some cool melda features in real projects and not only in teaser videos. The melda product videos are often very experimental, not everyday use, like mixing a rock song. For the beginning it could be an easy singer/songwriter example with 10 tracks or so.
At the moment I'm working with 8 compressors, but do I really need it, that's very time consuming and time is limited and often you don't reach a final product, because of comparing all time. Limitation is the way, but until now I don't get this step done and leave some plugins behind me.
I'm very interested in the different melda saturation plugins, when people use which and why for which instrument, vocal.....
At the end it's my own problem, maybe I'm searching for some good arguments leaving and cleaning up my plugin folder.

Hi Vojtěch,
The music of Bitosti is awesome
! Do you sell CDs of "Cliche Original"? Who recorded and mixed it?
And...how do you find time to make such great music with your band being so busy with melda productions???
Cheers,
Andi

Thank you folks!!!
Spread the word
We recorded it like 4 years ago, and since nobody was mixing it (and when a guy tried to, the results were awful), I took it and did it myself, plus the orchestra to make myself happy
. It's far from perfect, but I like it anyways
