Is really annoying to have the older music play before counting into a loop (and not good if it's a different time signature)

Needs to be count in just clicks as an option.

You can set the number of bars in the click options for "pre-record" - although I admit I normally only use a click track at the START of a piece of music. Is this beginning, or middle of a song that you'd like click-track with none of the pre-existing tracks?

I would think you'd want that existing stuff as reference, as well as click?

Anywhere that I can tell, but I usually record loops. If you are counting in from 4/4 to 3/4 this isn't going to work.

A simple option to count in from marker or before marker (loop or otherwise) would solve this.

I have already asked for this feature years ago.

count-in before loop recording with the tempo and measure of the loop

Surely counting in to a loop from a different time sig or tempo section is an extreme edge case?
Normally the flow into the looped section is extremely helpful to establish the groove and feel, and much better than a click.

It's distracting to me.

Anyways, no reason why it can't be an option.
