Hi,

I'm trying to get the bcf2000 working.
I have to load the sysex file to the bcf, wich is working but
everytime i switch of the power, the settings are lost.

I should press the store button to save the settings on the bcf but that seems to do nothing.
If i press it before sending the sysex file that store button is flashing. If i start sending the sysex
the flashing stops. I can use the bcf in bitwig then.

But if i switch of power the setting is lost, so i tried push the store button before, after and before & after.
Pressstore after upload the sysex isn't working because the store button is getting another function with the sysex?

Anyone that knows how i can use the bcf without sending over & over the sysex on power on?

Hi,

I don't know which sysex file you're referring to specifically (I'm not a Bitwig user) but I know there are some presets / sysex files which override the store button functionality so it can be used as another 'normal' button.
In this case using the store button for saving the transferred sysex wouldn't work.

To go around this, you could try the Sysex loader I uploaded here for transferring or as also mentioned, BC Manager which I use to transfer sysex files.

Tried bc manager. It uploads the sysex without any problems and bitwig does what i supposed to do then
but again, switch of power is losing the settings.

Hower if i check again with bc manager, the parameters are stored in the bcf, but they aren't load apparently.
Why? don't know.

Hm, that's strange.
When I use BC manager to transfer presets they are stored automatically, also after power on/off.

No idea what could be the problem,sorry.

btw., did you try with Sysex loader also ?
(no guarantee that it'll work, as said never used it myself as BC manager works fine for me)

Ok it's working now.

The preset was stored on preset-0 but there's nothing like preset 0 on the bcf(in beginning on 1)
after copy to preset from 0 to 1 and sending it to the device it's working also after switching the power on.

In all this years using my BCR I never figured out what's this about this strange preset 0 hehe.

I can't get the BCF 2000 running cause i can't import the sysex file from Bitwigs HP. Could anyone of you, who got it working, upload their file ?
