Even at $127 I still think this plugin is overpriced for what it offers.
Tantra has pretty much the same features (plus a Glitch module for stutter/reverse effects, plus more effect slots per instance) at almost half that price.
Sequent, at around the same price as Tantra, has a fantastic routing scheme and a powerful looper module.
Or, for $119 you could get Turnado, which has way more effect types than Movement.
Tantra does look pretty neat, it might just be a CamelSpace killer. :)
It's $90 including VAT though, so not quite the $69 I initially thought, which is a shame.

Its not uncommon that devs send NFR copies to be reviewed.
Numanoid wrote:Without a demo, how would it be possible for MusicTech to say on release day that:

“Output’s first foray into the plug-in world demonstrates the same creative spark as their innovative instruments. It surprised and delighted us”

I do not hope Output think those kind of endorsements can moonlight for a proper demo, that users can try out for themselves

The only thing that really caught my attention is the sidechain input as a modulation source, which doesn't seem that common in multi-fx plugins.

The more I see this and the Zynaptiq stuffs, the more I want an X - Y pad implementation in Mxxx.

If you have Komplete than Molekular (developed with Zynaptiq) is much more powerful than Movement:

Did this go through a beta phase? Seems a little buggy for an official v1.0. CPU flies off the rails in Ableton for some reason (with Asio4All that is) well beyond 100%. The CPU load in FL Studio is okay, but I froze up a few times and had to give it the ole' three-finger-salute. The mouse cursor often disappears. Panning modulation causes distortion. Cool plugin. Needs some bugfixes.

Poor form. No wonder there's no demo then.

Well, don't get me wrong, it's a very cool plugin with lots on offer. I won't discourage anyone from purchasing it. Perhaps the Mac version is seamless, but for me, the Windows version is a little rough around the edges. I like it very much, but I feel the Windows version needs some work. It needs an update for sure.

Hm, I was thinking about the 'lame' crossgrade price for Output customers... and actually it's a good thing. It's good because there is less temptation to jump on it because of the intro price. It means that I can take my time to explore my options, possibly find something that works better for me, and wait until there is more feedback from existing users.

I have an issue with it not being able to automate the plugin bypass in Cubase, very odd. Otherwise it does sound great.

Yeah, I'm playing with it now and it does some wonderful things to drum hits. A kick drum becomes a splashy mess with the "290. Wet N Metal" preset. I'm also running a fat snare through "266. Raindrops". I really like these sounds. All criticism aside, you can create some wonderful ear candy with Movement :tu:

Indeed.

Typical KVR - 3 pages in with various moaning about lack of a demo, and just a quick read of the developer's webpage will show this policy.

To all extents and purposes that is a demo.

As for the product, well I don't really need it and probably won't buy it. It will be good to have some feedback from people who've bought and used it though.
Exhale on the other hand looks very interesting.

 Are you for real? That can hardly be considered a demo.
