my entry is almost ready, but I found a strange bug and I wonder if it's in my PC only, basically when a Podolki is playing with sync to host enabled, in LFO or arp, and I open the GUI, the sync is lost with a noticeable audio gap, the gap during almost as the time the GUI needs to display.

Really strange... what host? Maybe it's a host timing issue? (Or it could be a Podolski bug, did you try the older version?)liqih wrote:my entry is almost ready, but I found a strange bug and I wonder if it's in my PC only, basically when a Podolki is playing with sync to host enabled, in LFO or arp, and I open the GUI, the sync is lost with a noticeable audio gap, the gap during almost as the time the GUI needs to display.

That's in energyXT so far, maybe Live too. Yes I use the old Podlski build because the new one crashes XP, (yeah my main DAWs are still on XP PC)

Ah... I don't think anyone is going to support XP anymore, very well might be related. And... which build are you using? The very old Podolski?liqih wrote:That's in energyXT so far, maybe Live too. NUSofting and XILS, for instance, still do support XP now, others too. But yes not for more many years !z.prime wrote:Ah... Using the new Podolski 1.2.1 Rev.3898, I meant the old Rev.

Not sure what that means , but sounds funny, BTW apparently u-he supports XP too for some synths at least.z.prime wrote:That's because you're glutton for punishment.liqih wrote:NUSofting and XILS, for instance, still do support XP now
But I guess I will soon jump to Windows 10 as soon as I find the time to install all DAWs and plugins on the new PC, (but I have so many cool plugins on XP He..he...)

I think Window 7 is the new XP, no? I believe with 10, they're going to start embedding advertising directly in the OS (ahem, read: have already).bjporter wrote:is Windows 10 the new XP? I might consider it then

I think microsoft really WANT it to be the new XP, Window 7 will be discontinued in a few years as far as the news tell, and next intel CPUs could be only supported by Windows 10z.prime wrote:I think Window 7 is the new XP, no? Extended support for Windows 7 lasts until January 14, 2020. So it will be updated up until then, but then there are no fixes/updates/patches (whatever) after that. I have Windows 8.1, and it is ok till 2023liqih wrote:I think microsoft really WANT it to be the new XP, Window 7 will be discontinued in a few years as far as the news tellz.prime wrote:I think Window 7 is the new XP, no?
