Looperator efx 1 bar only

I have sonar x3 and the looperator plugin will pick up the sound wave but only process the first bar of 16 bars. And then doesn't do anything else until I hit stop and play. Any ideas?

Here is an update after chasing my tail for hours, trying eveything I could think of: When I run it as a synth it works just fine. I thought it was supposed to run in the Effects bin like a "Chorus" or a "Reverb".
