I loaded 10 racks with each a mux in a slot and assign sounds to it
Then i must assign the volume mixer strip in the mixer for the racks
For instance i choose a sound Neander from the MFO soundmodule, but no Volume knob to find
I do need the volume knob to assign a cc volume 7 to the mixer slider for that rack
The protected sounds in Mux do have all a volume knob i think and the not protected sounds can have a volume knob, main volume knob and gain slider as it see now and there are sounds without a volume knob ?
For those sounds without a volume knob/slider i must do something in the modular area and add there a volume component ?
i tried this for the Neander sound and used a mixer strip in the modular area instead of a knob..why not ?
(How about the gain fader ..using this one..where to find ? )
Probably i can go in general always to the amplifier section of the sound and use there the gain parameter for a volume knob ?
For the neander sound the audio chain after the amplifier goes thru a stereoEcho, so it is better to have a volume knob at the end of the audio chain ?
In the amplifier section of the neander sound there is no volume knob ?
So what can/must i do ?
OK, i solved some routing problems at the same time by using midi channel splitter for 16 midichannels for using only one composer rack what can holds 16 midichannels. ( otherwise i get a long row of racks in the composer what holds only one sound per mux )
I assigned 16 racks to the event outputs of the midi channel splitter to 16 racks where i can choose a sound , but it has also a volume slider =gain and this one i can map onto the mixer volume slider.
I was able to make a 16 midi channel rack in the composer with the MUX and assign the mixer volume to the 16 sounds.
But the panning of the rack must also be done via the composer mixer.
If it works as intented i can add easily add sounds(up to 16) from MUX into the composer rackslots AND volume and panning are assigned to the composer mixer as well.
Now i can add a bass rack ..pad rack.. and so on as template in the composer.
