So i took the plunge and bought Mulab 7.
I am on mac so i downloaded Mulab 7.036 - mac version.

Right away, after opening mulab, a question pops up for me:
When i open the "About Mulab" window, it tells me the program is 32bit.
Say what ?

Please don't tell me Mulab 7 for mac is only 32bit....

You didn't need to buy it to find out anything about MuLab -- everything is the same, it's just the usage restrictions that are lifted when you register.

MuLab for OSX currently only exists in a 32 bit version indeed as indicated on the downloads page. But i will be researching several Mac related aspects, including MuLab 64 bit for OSX, on relative short term after the M7.0 release.

Luckily alot of my installed VST plugins are both 64bit and 32bit compatible :0)

First impressions about ML 7 are stunning, great job !
