In small letter just under my V4 collection in my account at Arturia there is a link:

Update your VC4 individual softwares for 149 €/$ 99 €/$ until July 1st: Update 50% off

Don't know who have been doing the math, but that aint 50% off :D

Size of CS-80 V2 installer is 66.3 MB, while CS-80 V3 is over five times that size at 387.1 MB

So what does the new version include with such an increase, incorporated samples?

Post

I'm guessing different versions/sizes of the gui elements.

Could be that yeah.

Analog Lab 2 got 10 choices for screen size: 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 120, 140, 160, 180 and 200%

So I guess the other new versions also has as many sizes...

100% more or less fills my 24" screen (1920x1200 resolutions)

Post

Lol, Arturia site not responding at all... just wanted to download the Mini demo, to see what the new filter is like. Anyone tried it yet?

yep, that's it. High resolution graphics takes lot's of disk space.

Could really do with a unified installer.

the site is SLOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!
guys , what is the price to upgrade each plugins ?

I tried them all, though have not dug too deeply yet. A few initial takeaways:

1. I can't imagine ever using the Piano.
2. The Hammond is meh.
3. EPs are mediocre.
4. The GUI for Analog Lab 2 is confusing as hell.
5. The Synclavier is fun!
6. With a few exceptions, the GUIs are more refined and easier to use.

I've not yet been able to do much A-B testing, but at flush I'm happy with the sonics.

Been diving heavily into the Synclavier. This thing is deep. Demo is just 3 partials. Each partial can have who knows how many frames.

No more than 2 or 3 notes played at a time to make this. With oodles of time put in, you can make a simple patch into a symphony.

When they release a new version of their collection, they always get a massive DDoS "attack" :o :D :hyper:

Very slow at the moment...

99.- $ for an upgrade from V4, cool.
