Problem here -- all the icons are missing from the user interface, both stand alone and vst. Just installed on win 10 64-bit.
All the places where an icon should be are all squares -- for instance, the transport has all squares instead of the "stop/rec" buttons etc.

Just bought Geist 2 as well as Strobe 2.
My request is that Fx please allow the mouse to be better and more accurate at triggering the pads, alike Guru. There seems to be a weird slow like latency now when trying to tap with the pads??

Ive noticed parameters dont change between pads in the settings section, well after some mouse clicking it'll start working but definately a bug. Also noticed the lag when clicking the pads and other parts of the gui

I've only been playing with Geist 2, browsing through presets and such, but I am so in love with the resizable UI. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I can see the damn thing!!!! I love it.
I'll need to wait until the weekend to get it setup to my liking, but again I love this. I became a fan of Geist 1 and Geist 2 just made everything (for me) more useable (on OSX).

It is a bit weird to first talk about grafics on an audio program but Geist2 looks really really good on a Retina Macbook.
All of the GUI Themes look fantastic. My favorites so far are Bit-redux and Bitwerked.
We don´t need to talk about the audio features, they are of course excellent

I think the redesign makes it also a bit easier to use. The pattern selector had a lot of space in the old version but it's only a pattern selector... so it makes sense to put it on top and make it a lot smaller.
Staff like the layers or the sample view has now more space. The envelopes are a lot easier to use and there are now additional ADHSR sliders.
I've not updated yet so I have no idea about the difference in the library or the additional packs. I already have the BFD remix and the Cinematic percussions and both are very nice.

Anybody have any authorization issues ?
I got a message back from the Authorization server to say 'Cannot parse the signature'. I've tried several times but it fails every time. There was an option to automatically raise a support ticket so I did this - let's see what they come up with. The dialog on the form made me smile though :

With midi-mapping enabled, have you tried right-clicking on the parameter in Geist2 you want to control with Bitwig, and choosing a host parameter with the 'Bind to Host' option (e.g. 'Param 1')? In doing this, you should then be able to automate the Geist2 parameter via. a lane in Bitwig with the automation channel set to 'Param 1' (which will probably appear as a shortened name of whatever you've selected).Kung VU wrote:I am testing Geist 2 in Bitwig 1.3.9. on a OSX 10.10 hackintosh and am pretty happy with most of it. There is just one major issue that I also had in Geist 1. Somehow midi mapping does not work. So everything that cant be modulated by Geist itself cannot be controlled by Bitwig. I am not sure though on which side the problem sits. I wrote both supports and hope they will fix it. Although Bitwig tends to still have some nasty bugs I must say that Geist is the only plugin with that problem.

Tested on my (crappy) AMD laptop and loading the same preset in Geist 1 + 2, Geist 2 uses *much* more CPU for me. I tried to disable all fx but still seems same.

There is no drag zoom anymore? And why are the zoom buttons still so small ?

Have you got AVG anti-virus installed? If so, disable it and attempt your authorization again.MikeCallon wrote:Anybody have any authorization issues ?
