He's probably working out kinks and doing refining, maybe doing extra testing. I'm sure he is getting tired of recompiling. Maybe he stayed up late on it and sleeping in.. it'll be up sometime today.

I hope it will be like the 2.7 release. Very stable with excellent cpu usage.
I'm starting to dig it and it sounds great. The 2.8 sounds really lush, so I suggest to be patient and give the developer enough time to perfect it

I go for something a little darker (and stronger) myself.
I'm getting really good vibes from this build. It's responding beautifully so far and fixed the start up issues for me. I was able to just install over the bad install I had on my drive already with no real problems. The sound is like... sex. I love this thing. One of my favorite parts of SM is the ability to design your own filter distortions and it sounds great. My wave forms are all there and I'm able to swap them out freely. Presets seem to be loading as expected. So far so good.
I have one little request/issue. Once you get the user single cycle waveforms into SM. How do you get them out? SM seem to have cached them so that you can't just delete them.

Not working here in Live 9.6.
I still get;
" Synthmaster could not drum maps folder: "
And then this;
" Incorrect parameter metadata file version:
Install location\Synthmaster\Resources\Parameterdata.xml
Please reinstall Synthmaster 2.8 "
Am i invisible or something ?

Everything working great so far. I noticed that when you swap out fx presets it turns the fx off, by design I'm sure so that you don't jack the bus levels by accident, but it would be nice to have a perimeter lock feature for future releases.

I'm really looking forward to your take on a grain filter myself. You realize what you have here is the mythical STROMBERG synth engine without analog circuits. Really nice work.kv331 wrote:Lock feature is in our todo list for SynthMaster One and then SynthMaster 3.0Dasheesh wrote:Everything working great so far. Hello, I still get crashing after deleting newly saved patches through the browser. To reproduce...save a couple patches then delete those patches you just saved and it will crash.Dasheesh wrote:I'm really looking forward to your take on a grain filter myself.
