In the process of trying to reproduce I'm seeing that I'm having random behavior sorting by author a lot of the time in the preset browser.
When unselecting all categories except author, half the presets would not show up in the browser. Then I went to online browsing and they showed up, then back to local (offline browsing) and I started to get presets listed in my OWN authoring that were not mine. I'm no expert in these matters, but it seems maybe it has troubles with the way preset authoring is labeled or categorized.

Hey I quit Reaper and restarted and it is working now as expected, I think maybe it had to recache the labeling from the old faulty build. Sorry for a false alarm there but it seems to be O.K. now.

I noticed that when you swap out fx presets it turns the fx off, by design I'm sure so that you don't jack the bus levels by accident, but it would be nice to have a perimeter lock feature for future releases.
Can confirm, I'm getting the same behavior on mac/reaper.

Deleting/renaming presets cause crash. I'll fix that in the next update folks. There's also an issue with MIDI sustain (hold) pedal, I'll fix that one too in the next update 2.83. Give it a couple more days, it wasnt as critical as the below issues I fixed:Dasheesh wrote:DocShay wrote:Hello, I still get crashing after deleting newly saved patches through the browser. No it should not, as long as the license key file is atwoodsdenis wrote:When loading the 2.8.1 beta it required reauthorisation? I got sent a new serial and key, is this correct ?
Documents/SynthMaster folder OR the installation folder where you installed SynthMaster.

The previous beta didn't but the latest did , strange . The new license key had a different serial too. It does work now.kv331 wrote:No it should not, as long as the license key file is atwoodsdenis wrote:When loading the 2.8.1 beta it required reauthorisation? EDIT ok the the 2.8.1 beta was just a .pkg ( not in a folder with the .txt) thats probably it.

Starting with v2.8 we do not generate the license key file (SynthMasterLicenseKey.txt) during the download process anymore.woodsdenis wrote:

You probably downloaded an older version perhaps.

Allright folks, now it is time to write the announcements
latest updates at: http://www.synthmaster.com/downloadupdates.aspx
and the latest version on the server is 2.8.2

Pretty soon I'll lock this topic since I'll make the announcement on a separate one!

Just downloaded and installed. Opened a previous project (Stagelight DAW and 64-bit) with two instances of Synthmaster and worked great. I wish I brought my mini keys to work to really try out the new sounds, but what I heard sounds fantastic. Was enjoying the new drum patterns
In the lower left, 'Osc:' section, I noticed the waveforms for Triangle, Square, Sawtooth and Pulse do not seem correct. If I select the Single Cycle versions of them, they look and sound as expected. My menu selection is:
Sine
Triangle
Square
Sawtooth
Pulse
Noise
Single Cycle Waveforms->Basic->Sine, Triangle, Square, etc.

I installed the latest version (2.8.2) and it has fixed the crashes I reported, thanks a lot!
I have noted that "pulse" waveform isn't working, it loads a blank waveform.

Installed and its working!
Great update! thank you
But here is one very annoying thing. When you want to change modulation ammount on the knob that is assigned its way too dificult to do that, because the mouse cursor has to be precisely at probably pixel-rate position
can this be fixed and be more "relaxed"? like on massive or serum for ex
Now changing modulation ammount on a knob is more like trying to catch a fly
Futhermore, on FL Studio 12.2 MSEG and ADSR animation stutters
