1. Why there is no waveform window, to see how I squash my signal?

2. What about dithering? 24 bit to 16bit?

1. In the meters section you can switch it to time graph mode. In there you can turn on/off multiple views like waveform, input, gain reduction etc.

3. Unlinking the channels on a limiter doesn't make sense. Use a compressor instead with a high ratio, the melda dynamics plugins have channel link control.

2. Sorry, you will need a specific plugin for that. I personally never heard a difference anyway...

4. Just set upsampling to 4x or something .
