In latest Logic X, OSX 10.11.5, using Geist2 demo:
- Double clicking on the section headers on pad sampler (e.g. FILTER) causes instant crash of Logic X.

Here it is now, recording a few stabs, it automatically records to a new pad when it goes below the threshold.aMUSEd wrote:An extra plugin needed to enable recording/sampling - clunky workflow

As it turned out it was just a case of RTFM... Everything is fine with the Midi mapping. Damn I love this thingThere is just one major issue that I also had in Geist 1. Somehow midi mapping does not work. So everything that cant be modulated by Geist itself cannot be controlled by Bitwig. I am not sure though on which side the problem sits. I wrote both supports and hope they will fix it. Although Bitwig tends to still have some nasty bugs I must say that Geist is the only plugin with that problem.

OK... me thinks its not ready for prime time.
There are graphic glitches (redraw on my Win 10 64bit and bVidia 730 causes the whole interface to blink once one re-sizes the interface.... interface icons are shown as blank rectangles... and a few other glitches)
Hope they'll sort it out quickly

Is this in the vst version?? Because i have no such problems. I haven't tried the standalone. VST x64 on Windows10 x64 is working properly over here.Tp3 wrote:OK... me thinks its not ready for prime time.

I saw yesterday another user complaining about the black rectangles and another one reported about the glitches.

I have some glitches as well. Like certain elements not responding after twiddling with them, untill i reopen the plugin. But i don't have complete black-outs or blinking.Tp3 wrote:Yes.exmatproton wrote:Is this in the vst version??Tp3 wrote:OK... me thinks its not ready for prime time.

I'm not worried about the gui issues personally. They will get straitened away fairly quickly. I am a little disappointed that it has been released with such severe gui issues that it's unusable. I find that odd. I know FXpansion has developed the new gui matrix from scratch though so I expected some issues.
As far as the lay out and look of it. I would like to hear suggestions on how it could be done better because there is a chit metric ton of information and abilities offered to you in a very compact and immediately available and readable form so how would you do it different?

At the moment I'm finding this thing too much of a bug fest to be usable. constant crashes, weird GUI stuff, as pointed out by others. I'm on 10.11.4. Hope they fix some of this soon
