Thanks - will have a look.

Variety of Sound (maker of EpicVerb) has a bunch of other pretty impressive freeware plugins, it seems.

I like the M/S feature of EpicVerb, btw.

I know i'm a broken record, but TAL Reverb III is the bombest for pads, leads and ambient sounds. Basically if you want something sounding in the clouds, use it.

On that note, TAL Reverb 4 is also very good sounding, but different...

Good point, they all have their own character

... and the original Reverb A, from Steinberg is a classic that has been used on countless hits:

Indeed - I like the character of TAL Reverb II, so I use it quite a bit. Sometimes EpicVerb, but need to be a bit picky - the plate is sometimes too metallic sounding - but, if you want that, then alls good in the mush.

And ... I have updated my track with some heavy EQ work on THAT lead (Z'!) to smoothen it out, and a little rebalancing of the myriad of other tracks to compensate for the change the EQ made to the overall sound.

Hope you enjoy, and have time to listen once more.

I called it 'The Time Effect' as 2015 was like a whirlwind for me. 2016 is much better so far. Anyway, I hope you like it, and good luck to all!

Yeah, that guy makes some good plugins... unfortunately only for Windows. But he's joined forces with vladgsound and they make the TDR plugins together, I think. Maybe they'll port some more their cool plugs to the TDR platform... one can hope (I'm looking at you: slick HDR, ferric tds, limiter 6, oh and a cross platform epic verb while you're at it). And grateful especially for nova (and the prior nova 67p) in this contest of freebies when I need something like a multiband compressor ;)

Hi all,

so I finally mixed my track, uploading now,
and I listened to many of the entries so far,
I'm scared by the huge number of instances and effects some of you used!

Anyway I hope you dont'mind me saying I liked the great atmosphere of Kimik, and his harmony.
The vintage song of DoctorBob. The space sounds of Examigan, especially when there's no drums.
The many variations of Saukar30. The obsessive sounds of lemmike.

Thanks for all that new music!

continued...

More listenings, more things liked,
lovely track Zippy731, with nice bleeps and nice percussions.
Convincing drums sounds of 7angram . Laxplanet also cool percussions and atmosphere.
Allarming sick mood of reiswolf. Dragonsongz weird Beauty, almost anxiety.
The fun metamorphosis of RuediRena. The dreams of Hellfog. The super power mix of z.prime.

Just out of curiosity. When it comes to voting later I read some where that you need to vote for all contributions, including your own. So does that mean everyone give 5 - Points to themselves?

I guess it would be my only chance to ever get 5-poins anyway :hihi: ..hehehe.

It doesn't matter what you give yourself. The system gives you a 1.
