Yes. 64-bit versions AU/VST.

Runs smoothly on El Capitan 10.11.4 as 64bit AU

Ehm... yes... since a looooong time. There was AU for years. And with a 64bit DAW you were always able to use it with 32lives (a bridging app from 32bit to 64bit). Now, since a couple months, Lennard released Sylenth v3.xxx for Mac with native 64bit for AU (and I think also Mac VST)
