Done that. Doesn't work. And the odd thing is, it's only on certain notes.z.prime wrote:I'm not really having that problem. If you use the graphical, though, you can just add an extra point near the start, near the top to make the attack a hair longer.wagtunes wrote:I never realized how clicky the TAL envelopes are on short percussion patches. I've done everything I can think of to get rid of them (they're intermittent) but nothing works. It's randomly on the attack. And it's really bad.
One Synth Challenge #88: TAL-NoiseMaker (Mac/PC) (z.prime wins!)

I've been waiting for this one to come back around. This is probably one of the best Synths for free. Competition is gonna be fierce with that money on the line!!!

It's on like Donkey Kong!
Here are 151 presets I made for Noisemaker a while back. Mac AU format only sorry. If I have time I'll try to save in native format.

Reminds me of telling my doctor, "It hurts when I bend my hand this like this..." and he replies "Then don't bend it like that."z.prime wrote:Avoid those notes?wagtunes wrote:... it's only on certain notes.

Wives are overrated. Easy to get rid of if they're interfering with OSC entries.rghvdberg wrote:Tell that to my wife ...

Looks promising!
I didn't manage to finish a Podolski track, although I started two. Hopefully I'll do better this time.
That "NOISE" option on OSC 1 makes me very happy after trying to squeeze hat and snare sounds out of Podolski...

With this synth, anything should be possible (IMHO)

Ah the good ol' TAL noiseMaker. Some good memories of when I first started making music. I think I'll try to get in on this OSC as well. I'm moving in a week though so I might not be able to leverage the time. We'll see.
Good luck to everyone!

Good choice of synth, easy yet not overly limited, sounds decent and available for all platforms.
I wonder if he will ever make a new, commercial version of Noisemaker, it would be a big success in my view
