at first, i love this new version -

here some bugs in the new geist

free envelope has no effect at all pads.

midi learn bugs :
1.track-graph is not available . only a red or White button without any sense.
2.track setup and pad cromatic can only go return to first mode

Not a bug but reduced features....................
Automation only on Note-start .
that means :no automation inside notes after note start. No groups or any engine-kit Automation . Each sound must be solo automated. Bad for drum-groups or polyphonic Kits .
Pad fx automation :you must set the value to zero or non active on all patterns without fx automation .

YES! Thank you fxP

I was really (REALLY!) concerned if I can work with the new GUI (the early version was not good), but it seems alright, and they even added Tremor style theme, great! So purchased already. I hope there´s no big showstopping bugs, haven´t had the time to test.

Why? Does that mean no record in the plugin itself again? I prefer that (even though it could be simpler to setup).

Are you sure you're doing it right? I've been working with the free-envelope without any problems here.

Known issue. It will work once you load a preset.
2.track setup and pad cromatic can only go return to first mode
I'm not sure I understand?
Automation only on Note-start .
Not a bug or a reduced feature. Geist has worked that way since the beginning. For now you must use transmod or the learn system if you wanna do real-time tweaks during the tail of a sound.
Pad fx automation :you must set the value to zero or non active on all patterns without fx automation .
Again, I'm not 100% sure what you mean here. Clarify?

Er... I don't know what you mean guv. The plugin can record currently - we integrated the sampler directly into the pad selection mechanics for quick multi sampling of external sources. Once Spitter returns, you'll have both options.

Lots of my vocal samples, that are BPM labeled, differ in sample length although they have the same BPM. So Geist won't automatically give the right BPM conversion. In Geist 1 I could manually enter the right source BPM (and the right DAW/Geist BPM).
Anyone from the FXpansion team? Again I am a big fan, but for me it's a deal breaker if there isn't a workaround besides using a calculator to determine the right time stretch percentage.

Yes, but when I select an other sample with the same source BPM on the same pad, Geist 2 calculates a fresh ("wrong") BPM... I usually try a folder with (vocal) samples which have the same BPM; the time stretch feature of Geist 1 works fast, because it holds the time stretch settings.
Are you planning to restore this feature? For me it's essential

Hmmmmmmm... I'll raise it as an issue for discussion.

OK, I just thought you might go back to the old way completely which I didn't find useful. What's the advantage of using the spitter then?

Some hosts cannot route audio, and so the spitter is essential if you want to sample within Geist.

transmode is not a automation thing -this is a static modulation like a matrix or lfo
same effeckt in all pattern
no fades no creshes ,etcetera.

with me ,midi learn on graph is not correct with a preset
there is only a colour button without any effect or mapped cc
