I'm not sure about the limits in Mulab Free version.
I have created a song with 4 tracks and using 6 VST plugins in various rack slots.
Why am I getting the periodic hiss ?

My point is that the table says "Num VST Plug-Ins Per Project = 8" and I'm using only 6.
And I'm not out of any other limit in the Free specs.
So I would not expect any hiss. I checked also the User Key and it is empty.

One of the listed limits will have been crossed otherwise there won't be a noise. Maybe one of the tracks' MIDI channel is set to "Per Part"? Maybe you rendered an audio file in 32 bit?

Thanks a lot for the hint and quick reply. In fact, I have found that one of the tracks was set "Per Part".
Now the hiss seems gone.
