...besides taking a Memorial Day holiday here in the States I mean.

My guess is that something big with Biotek is going to break soon. There was a not so great review of it in one of the mags not too long ago, then I recall seeing a comment about something coming this way involving Biotek. New presets and an honest to god editor perhaps...?

Updates on the T7 have slowed also. Hmmmm. Something is in the offing and I bet it's good.

Usually don't post Total Biased Speculation threads (i.e. Total BS threads), but it's been a little slow here so why not?

Yeah, something Biotek is supposed to be happening, which made me wonder whether now would be a good time to pick it up (on sale this weekend for $99) if it's getting a notable update?

Yep, its been real real quiet here as of late ..... yeah maybe Biotek1.5 is in the works and be a free upgrade for us early adopters..... maybe a T7 update with some cool stuff too .... who knows ? .... not us ....

It's almost halfway through the year, so it should be time for them to give some thought to T8.

I expect updates and fixes will still be applied to T7 and there may be some new features to be added to it.

But T8... their thoughts may turn towards touch screens and maybe Android and iOS. The Linux version still has some way to go and when it gets there ought to stop being free. Perhaps some more plug-ins. Perhaps the backlog of Feature Requests is being reduced. I'm sure there are other things. Other DAWs will have features that T8,9,10 will need to acquire.

Only note in order to avoid misunderstandings; T7 isn´t free for linux users.

Well I have two other daws so I'm in good shape, but with T7 being new I thought they would have several quick little updates. In all fairness T7 seems solid.
