If you're looking for a channel limiter it's a great plugin. I almost always use it on my drum bus and it occasionally makes it onto the vocals as well to help them poke through. Saturation is nice in small doses and CPU is fine in my experience. Go for it- bargain at that price!kev2525 wrote:Bx limiter is 19 bucks this week. Does anyone have any experience with it. It's it any good? I don't need a limiter for the master and this says it's for individual channels which is exactly what I need. Any thoughts on this?
Thanks,
Kev

bx_limiter is very good as a transparent vocal limiter. The industry standard for this is still the Waves L1 but that may just be because people aren't looking for an alternative.

Picked up bx limiter for track limiting. Only downside is that it distorts easily with low release times compared to pro-l or elephant or limitless. The upside is the latency and sound quality (as long as you keep the release way the hell up here).

On second thought I deleted as it is almost as boring as MusicTech really
A lot of samples pulled from the archives, meaning long time subscribers already have them.

Re Loop Loft's Flutes of Fire - I just saw their promo vid for it, ok its definitely a joke now. Had a good chuckle with it.. Maybe they released it around xmas or as an easter egg at some point..
BTW all Loop Loft reviews seem to be selective, I've never seen anything less than 5 star ratings on their products and when I bought Platinum I rated it a 3 star and the results never showed my review.

Any chance JRR can beat Sweetwater's price on PreSonus Studio One 3 Artist - Upgrade from Studio One Artist Version 1 or 2?

Is it me or does the izotope creative bundle loyalty upgrade seem a bit weak? I've seen Stutter Edit & BeatTweaker go for $50 each, and I believe Iris has gone for $99 in the past. So how exactly is this better?

DDLY and Mobius Filter are included free during the sale. They are normally $49 each.LGK_Dude wrote:Is it me or does the izotope creative bundle loyalty upgrade seem a bit weak? Anyway, the real focus is the Creative Bundle Loyalty Upgrade. Anyone who bought BreakTweaker from us when we had it on sale for $49 can now upgrade to the full Creative Bundle for $249, which is the lowest the price I've ever seen it for, especially when you factor in DDLY and Mobius Filter.

That reminds me of the upgrade to the Music Production bundle from Ozone 7 Advanced:
https://www.jrrshop.com/izotope-music-p ... 7-advanced
If I use Ozone to upgrade, but the bundle includes Ozone... do I end up with 2 Ozones? Can I then sell the original native Ozone license or does that become NFR in the process?
Seems almost too good to be true because if I sell the original Ozone license then it will pay for the bundle upgrade itself, maybe with some extra in the pocket.

Anyone know which of the creative bundle products are no longer being developed? From my experience submitting a bug with the VST3 version of Trash 2, and their reply saying that its a known bug and to use the VST2 version of the plugin (this was 2 years ago and still no fix!), that it seems Trash 2 is not being developed. I've heard that sutter edit and beatweaker are not being developed either, and I also remembering hearing people complaining about Iris 2 on its release that it seemed "not finished." Was it ever fixed? Unlike other software developers who have a clear history of support and continued development of their products, I have no clue what izotope plans on doing in the future, and that makes me hesitate greatly.
