Why do you suppose the UIs from Arturia and WAVES plugs won't take a snapshot?
Any work arounds?

0. Close T7.
1. Find nice pic of plug-in on internet, in .PNG format and preferably below 300k in size.
2. Download it and save it in c:\Users\Integratron\AppData\Roaming\Tracktion 4\Plugin Images\
3. Find your way to the above folder and rename the existing blank image for your plugin. Make it .pngx or something.
4. Highlight the old image file and press F2. It should highlight most of the name. Copy it.
5. Highlight the new image file and press F2. It should highlight the name. Paste over it. Press Enter.
6. Open T7 and see if the new image has appeared.
7. Never tell anyone you got this from me.

Crop the image before resizing - you can do this in paint.
Or get something like FastStone image viewer. One of its options is to "capture rectangular region" so you can load it, do "file-capture-rectangular region" and it will conveniently hide itself while allowing you to drag a squiare around the portion you want. When you let go, it returns and allows you to resize/edit and then save.

Seems logical to me but it did not work... still no image when I right click the VST loader.

Odd indeed. You definitely ended with a new file with the same name as the old one?

I'm using WAVES Element 2 and I have 4 images and one of them has the UI. Perhaps 64 and 32 VST and VST 3jabe wrote:Odd indeed. You definitely ended with a new file with the same name as the old one?
?????
I'll try it with a plug with a single entry in the images folder... I bet that might work.
